During her DJ sets, Nico takes you on a unique journey exploring an eclectic mix of music genres. Her intention is to showcase the traditional instruments and chants from all around the world, using the electronic music platform to bring them back to life. Expect to be taken on a global musical journey, mixed in with an array of electronic dance music genres like deep-house, techno, liquid drum&bass, combined with heavy baselines, whilst keeping her Balkan roots alive through her sets. Having a life long love affair with dance as a choreographer and with movement as a yoga teacher, Nico’s sets are focused on moving you from the core of your being, body and soul!

Nico has headlined at music, film, and art events from the Secret Garden Party, Big Chill, and Bestival, to the Biennale in India, Art Dubai, Royal Academy of Arts, V&A Museum, London fashion shows and film festivals in Reykjavik, Transylvania, BFI London, BAFTA and Belfast.

Working in regular collaboration with a wide family of global musicians and artists, the MWF team are the ultimate entertainers. Captivating, immersive and inclusive, their memorable shows include live musicians, dance, visual art performance, film, theatre, costumes, DJing and MCing and mixing. Artists and spectators become one entity, taken on a global beat journey, dissolving barriers through music, dance and the visual arts. Connection happens on the dance floor where the audience connect through music and dance and artists part of show.

Nico has worked along-side many talented musicians, including Blondie, Leftfield, Apparat, Norman Cook, M.I.A, Telepopmusik, Adam Freeland, Lamb, Nickodemus, The Correspondents, Fanfara Ciocarlia, Mahala Rai Banda and Boban Markovic.

MWF conceptualises and designs events including weddings, food pop-ups and other private events. As part of a wide network of artists and facilitators, MWF has access to the venues and industry contacts that enable the design and implementation of enchanting bespoke experiences. Their watchwords are attention to detail, whether it be to sound, décor and even smell, so that the atmosphere becomes electric, creating a sense of unity, celebration and belonging. Curator, artists and participants meet on the dancefloor, or at the dining table, to start a journey together beyond frontiers.

Previous successes including Transylvanian food pop-up dinners, themed costumed parties, private dinners, collaborations with restaurants and bespoke weddings.

MWF also specialises in curating cultural and multimedia events, including selecting and booking artists and working with given concepts at venues including theatres, music halls, art galleries and festivals.

MWF also hosts international online events, including fundraisers for forest protection via its charitable initiative Forests Without Frontiers. During Covid-19, these cross-border, socially-distanced and low- carbon events generated the same joyful and inclusive vibes as their live shows.
